Rachel develops customized training programs designed specifically for each individual and their goals. She listens first—to the client’s goals, their fears, their “why”—and meets them where they are. Valuing communication and honesty between client and trainer as well as cultivating the client’s ability to hear and interpret the body’s intelligence, she identifies limitations and then focuses on building capacity. Using the Functional Movement Screen to holistically assess mobility, stability, strength and motor control, she designs individualized 12 week programs that incorporate corrective exercise into challenging but safe workouts. As a result, clients feel stronger, healthier and more empowered.

Training with Rachel

Rachel offers both one-on-one and small group training (2-4 people). She works in contracts of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, and reassesses each client every 12 weeks to determine progress and next steps to help them achieve their goals.

  • Do I need prior weightlifting experience to train with Rachel?

    Not at all. Rachel custom designs programs to meet each client where they are.

  • Are personal training sessions virtual or in-person?

    Rachel offers both! Sessions can be via Zoom or in-person at Rachel’s home or outdoors.

  • What does the free consultation consist of?

    This is conducted over the phone to talk through your goals, how Rachel’s approach can meet your needs, and the various contract/pricing options.

  • Do you offer nutrition guidance?

    Yes! At the client’s request, Rachel provides guidance on healthy eating to better fuel workouts and balance macronutrient intake.
